"Last night I pulled in a hazy black and white signal that was not even listed. It was an old Jim Morrison concert, or maybe a pirated video. These things are never made clear.

But you don’t get a lot of Jim Morrison, that is what we call a Special—straight black and white footage of crazy Jim on stage in the old days, with a voice like Fred Neal’s and eyes smarter than James Dean’s and a band that could walk with the King, or anybody else. There were some nights when The Doors were the best band in the world.

Morrison understood this, and it haunted him all his life. On some nights he was noisy and lewd, and on others he just practiced—but every once in a while he would get it into his head to go out and dance with the big boys, and on a night like that he was more than special. Jim Morrison could play music with anybody.

One of these days we will get into naming names for the real rock’n’roll hall of fame—in that nervous right now realm right beyond Elvis and Chuck Berry and Little Richard—and the talk will turn to names like Bob and Mick and to tunes like Morrison Hotel.

Play it sometime. Crank it all the way up on one of those huge obsolete wire-burning MacIntosh amps and 80 custom built speakers. Then stand back somewhere on the mainbeams of a big log house and feel the music come up through your femurs… ho, ho… and after that, you can always say, for sure, that you once knew what it was like to hear men play rock’n’roll music.

My pilot light has flickered out
You've knocked me off the hook
The person you are trying to reach is no longer here
I'm not really tall, dark and handsome
I just look that way
I'm a canvas that bleeds
And I'm painted with fingers
Childish pictures
Of you that still linger
Bury you're wasted into the moon
Hoping that it sinks to the earth soon

Hers a list from a true Kiss fan....
Iv been contemplating doing this for awhile, and I know people will judge it. But these are by far the best from THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD. Kiss pretty much taught me how to play guitar...Aces influence on me has been GIGANTIC...I remember gettin the internet and printing out EVERY kiss songs guitar tabs and learning how to fluently read tabs, and picked up on where to play in what keys....

Picture
5. Creatures of the Night
Ace was featured on the cover, although he had NOTHING todo with this album...Vinnie Vincent had finally done what Ace had wanted todo all along....Kiss was FINALLY starting to get heavy!~
Definitly the heaviest drums on a Kiss album thanks to Eric Carr, and the start of the HUNDRED-NOTE-GUITAR-SOLOS that kiss would be know for through the 80s....
Every song on here is stellar...no Filler

Track listing:

1. "Creatures of the Night"   Paul Stanley, Adam Mitchell 4:02
The title track that was used as the show opener was definitly something new for kiss fans when it came out...Kiss was actually starting to sound alot like Motley Crue or old-school ozzy...Very riff oriented music

2. "Saint and Sinner"   Gene Simmons, Mikel Japp 4:50
I personally think this is the heaviest kiss song EVER...Balls to the wall rockin!~
Even the bass stands out....

3. "Keep Me Comin'"   Stanley, Mitchell 3:55
I always loved the riff to this tune....and Pauls vocals are sexy ;)
The breakdown before the solo is awesome...alittle woahwoah for paul!~

4. "Rock and Roll Hell"   Simmons, Bryan Adams, Jim Vallance 4:11
Alot of people think ths song was written about Ace Frehley and his departture from the band:
"He's on the edge, he can feel it in his heart, this time the pressure's really on","This time tomorrow he'll be gone","There ain't nobody gonna tell him what to do",----But believe it or not its more like a cover...Check out:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7kc8X9rv-M

FUCKIN BTO@!~ Still a good tune tho....

5. "Danger"   Stanley, Mitchell 3:54
Probably the weakest song on the album, but it has a KILLER guitar solo, and a really crazy upbeat tempo

6. "I Love It Loud"   Simmons, Vinnie Vincent 4:15
Genes big tune from the album, ONE OF HIS BEST, fuckin classic kiss!~

7. "I Still Love You"   Stanley, Vincent 6:06
LUV THIS SONG!~ One of my favorite ballads by kiss...and its THUNDEROUS im telling you!
Crank this shit, and youll hear true Paul Stanley talent....

8. "Killer"   Simmons, Vincent 3:19
Awesome "80s" song for sure.....

9. "War Machine"   Simmons, Adams, Vallance 4:14
HUUUUGE RIFF!~ Heavy as fuck, for kiss at least...awesome way to wrap up an album

Picture

4. Love Gun
Classic kiss...the first album to feature vocals by ACE FREHLEY...came out at the peak of their success...and probably one of the truest "Rock and Roll" albums they have released. You can hear 60s rock & roll influence through many of the tracks...

Track listing

1. "I Stole Your Love"   Paul Stanley 3:04
WICKED album intro...badass riff with badass lyrics!~
I always loved the shot of this tune in the movie Detroit Rocks City...fuckin epic

2. "Christine Sixteen"   Gene Simmons 3:14
Another song about Gene and younger girls lol
Classic kiss... that piano riff makes the song

3. "Got Love for Sale"   Simmons 3:29
Reminds me of Hendrix actually...the background singers sound reminicant of "Cross town Traffic"

4. "Shock Me"   Ace Frehley 3:49
Aces first vocals, and an EPIC guitar solo...the live versions even better....best song off the album by far

5. "Tomorrow and Tonight"   Stanley 3:40
Heres a tune thats chalked fulla that old-school rock feeling I was talkin earlier.
Such a party song...using the ROCK & ROLL ALL NIGHT formula

6. "Love Gun"   Stanley 3:18
Heres a staple kiss song....awesome lyrics, riff and solo!~

7. "Hooligan"   Peter Criss, Stan Penridge 3:01
Great PETER CRISS tune...I love his voice....raspy and screamin

8. "Almost Human"   Simmons 2:49
Cool intro with the gong....
Gene writing another "God of Thunder"? Decent song, weakest on the album I think

9. "Plaster Caster"   Simmons Simmons 3:27
SEX SEX SEX ;)
I remember singin tis song in grade 7 LOL

10. "Then She Kissed Me"   Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich, Phil Spector 3:02
This song was originally recorded by the famed Brooklyn female vocal group The Crystals.
Always like this tune...one of my first songs I ever learnt on guitar!~

Picture
3.Hotter than Hell

kiss' second album, the recording of it is kinda muffled, but still ESSENTIAL kiss. Half of their first live album was taken from Hotter Than Hell, and lots of em are still played live to this day.

Track listing

1. "Got to Choose"   Paul Stanley 3:54
I always love the UNPLUGGED-RARE version of this song.  Good album opener

2. "Parasite"   Ace Frehley 3:02
Another Ace-written song, sang by Gene....one of Aces most popular guitar riffs...staccato!~

3. "Goin' Blind"   Simmons, Stephen Coronel Simmons 3:37
Weakest point on the album...going blind is lame...thanks Gene ;(

4. "Hotter Than Hell"   Stanley 3:30
"LETS GET THIS PLACE HOTTER THAN HELL"
Wicked song, wicked lyrics......ture kiss track

5. "Let Me Go, Rock 'n' Roll"   Stanley, Simmons 2:15
Totaly rockin guyitar riff...the extended version they do live has an awesome extended solo...
One of my all-time fav kiss songs

6. "All the Way"   Simmons 3:18
Good tune.....catchy chours

7. "Watchin' You"
  Simmons 3:44
I always thought this song should be in a horror movie...
Cool riff, makes ya wanna dance

8. "Mainline"   Stanley Peter 3:50
Another song sang by Peter Criss...COWBELL!~

9. "Comin' Home"   Frehley, Stanley 2:38
I think Comin Home is one of Kiss' most underrated songs...rockin tune bout life on the road missin your honey

10. "Strange Ways"   Frehley Criss 3:18
The wrap -up song....sounds evil to me ;)
One of Aces strangest solos....definitly some weird effect on their

Picture
2. ROCK AND ROLL OVER
Iv always had a soft spot for this album...one of my ALL TIME favorites!~
The classic kiss lineups BEST album...With a more direct, IN-YOUR-FACE production, Rock and Roll Over is one of Kiss' most consistent records. Two of the album's best tracks became hit singles -- the sleazy hard rocker "Calling Dr. Love" and an acoustic ballad that was originally intended for Rod Stewart, "Hard Luck Woman" (later covered by country star Garth Brooks). I was gunna have this album at #1, but it fell just short....

Track listing

1. "I Want You"   Paul Stanley 3:04
Starts the album off all slow...then BAM!~ Awesome solo, and end chorus

2. "Take Me"   Stanley, Sean Delaney 2:56
I love this riff. "Put your hand in my pocket....Grab onto my rocket....Feels so good to see you receive" FUCKIN HOTT

3. "Calling Dr. Love"
Simmons 3:44
Huge hit off the album, one of the best known kiss songs, heard it wayyyy too many times
Another "Love" song from Gene

4. "Ladies Room"   Simmons 3:27
Heres a classic rock tune if there ever was one!~ Loved the live version...

5. "Baby Driver"   Peter Criss, Stan Penridge 3:40
One of my fav songs sang by Peter Criss...I remember learning it on guitar ages ago...ONE CHORD!~

6. "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em"
  Simmons 3:47
Great song!~ One of Aces best guitar solos too...ONE HANDED!~

7. "Mr. Speed"
Stanley, Delaney 3:18
I dont think its really good to be fast in bed LMAO
Good tune tho ;)

8. "See You in Your Dreams"
Simmons 2:34
Song always reminds me of delivering papers in the fuckin freezing cold at 5am saturday mornings...I listened to the album over and over again on cassett

9. "Hard Luck Woman"   Stanley 3:34
Just listened to it and forgot how much I loved this song....great tune!~
I honestly think Peter shoulda sang vocals over Gene...he has a wayyy better voice

10. "Makin' Love"   Stanley, Delaney 3:14
BEST TUNE ON THE ALBUM!~ Crank that shit!~ The solo is insain!~
WICKED LIVE TOO!~

Picture
1. REVENGE!~
Definitly the most solid album KISS has done...EVERY track is phenominal. Sadly Eric Carr never got to perform on it (besides his drum solo) due to cancer.
I think they actually put lots of effort into writing these songs and the production of the tunes shows...huge harmonies and CRAZY guitar solos!~

Track listing

1. "Unholy"   Gene Simmons, Vinnie Vincent 3:40
Probably kiss' most evil riff....Gene starts the album off with a song that 20 years earlier woulda geave them a reason to be called Knights in Satans Service

2. "Take It Off"   Paul Stanley, Bob Ezrin, Kane Roberts 4:50
Fuckin rippers!~  "Well my mind is gettin' dirty, yeah around eleven thirty, uh huh
I wanna watch some asses shakin', to the noise the boys are makin', uh huh
Ooh, so I hop into my car, hit the local titty bar, uh huh
'Cause that's my kind of situation, when I need some perspiration, uh huh
LUV IT LIVE TOO!~ WICKED

3. "Tough Love"   Stanley, Bruce Kulick, Ezrin 3:44
Highlight of the song: Kulicks guitar solo...he nailed em on this album, even without his fancy pants frett tapping

4. "Spit"   Simmons, Scott Van Zen, Stanley 3:32
Alittle duet from Gene n Paul....anothe great sex song with a huge tribute to JIMI HENDRIX guitar solo ;)

5. "God Gave Rock 'N' Roll to You II"   Russ Ballard, Stanley, Simmons, Ezrin 5:18
A remade version of an old tune.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QsG5V-o6uxY
True meaning of rock and roll...."Man you gotta sweat, or you wont get far"
The video is an awesome tribute to Eric Carr as well

6. "Domino"   Simmons 4:01
One of my favorite Gene Simmons songs, nice breakdown part in the middle
Harddrivin bass!~

7. "Heart of Chrome"   Stanley, Vincent, Ezrin 4:02
I cant imagine even trying to write a chous like this...Paul Stanley in the round...crazyyy

8. "Thou Shalt Not"   Simmons, Jesse Damon Simmons 3:59
Another angry Gene song, guess its better than Cadillac dreams lmao
Weak point of the album

9. "Every Time I Look at You"   Stanley, Ezrin 4:38
Beuatiful kiss song....sometimes ya just gotta put shit down on an acoustic...Epic guitar solo

10. "Paralyzed"   Simmons, Ezrin 4:14
Good rockin tune.....upbeat and in your face!~ Nice jam in the middle...

11. "I Just Wanna"   Stanley, Vincent 4:07
I just wanna FUH you!~ One of Pauls best songs...notice how Vinnie Vincent still shows his face in the song writing credits? Awesome melodic middle section ;)

12. "Carr Jam 1981"   Eric Carr (instrumental) 2:4
Originally recorded with Ace Frehleys guitar...they overdubbed it with Bruce, but left us with what matters...THE BEATS...WE MISS YOU ERIC!~
Wicked drum solo for a studio take....

On the eve of Month of Sundays 15th gig....I feel Iv hit the high end of low.....

Its been the longest and toughest 8 months of my life.....
I came home tonight and for some odd reason typed Jim Carrey into youtube...I havent watched a Jim carrey movie in ages, and havent thought anything of him in much longer....but just the way he showed ANYBODY can go from living in poverty in TORONTO to being one of the biggest comedians in the world got the ball rolling on myself. I  feel inspired to start again.

Iv learnt alot about myself, my friends and my family....some I hate to admit, and some Im forever grateful for....

Things have happened that I dont think people even know of..maybe they really dont care...but Ill always remember.....

For the first time in what seems like forever I feel like Im actually moving forward...Next week begins the start of a new life.

A dui happening to somebody as timmid as me has sent shockwaves through EVERY aspect of my life....

I lost faith in myself...self esteem...let myself down..terribly
I remember one night talkin to my dad and realizing I was up against JAILTIME....oh, the nights I drank myself into a stupe

DARK DARK PLACES

Fuckin ridiculous....I really did nothing wrong in the sence...so i had a few beers....I had done much worse...but I pushed it too far....a guy like me cant goto jail with a tramp stamp on his back...Id be dead meat in an hour....

I dont know where Im goin with this, I just felt like saying for the first time since it happened I feel Iv got a REAL reason Im glad I didnt jump off the gorge lol

Im proud to have made it this far, and Im ever soooo happy Iv had people push me to get this far. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH EVERY LITTLE THING HAS MEANT TO ME.

I over think everything wayyyy too much...but I always try to on purpose...

The great always leave a legacy of some sort...I dont care if I ever get known for anything, but I want the people who have known me to know me as the ONE guy who stood out. The one guy who stayed up all night with YOU when you were at YOUR wits ends....the one guy who LISTENED to your problems, tried to push YOU todo better, the one who gave you inspiration, and the one person who cared...and the one guy who drank the 40 with you for no reason but to get smashed..
You know, i was  been there with you..and thank you for being there with me

Theres also another side to the story tho...
Theres people I feel havent done anything for thier friend....in his darkest hours....we'll leave it at that, but I think youll know who you are the second you read this...

Im gunna post this tonight, forever keeping a time stamp on this moment
A time stamp so I can always look back and think IV BEEN THROUGH WORSE...the last few years have been insain to say the least

HERES TO MOVING FORWARD YA CREEPS!~

;)

While Im on the topic of Liz Phair...I thought Id shed some light on FEMALE ROCKSTARS!~

Iv latley become obsessed with a few and cant understand why in the past Joan Jett was given such a hard time for playing fuckin ROCK AND ROLL!~

To me seeing a hotty on stage is one thing, but if ya can play gui-tar and sing ALL THE POWER TO YOU!~

In the 80s she took alot of shit for being female, even tho her band was all male, did it hurt guys masuinity to say they liked a female rocker?
Iv been called gay for OPENLY saying I LOVE JOAN JETT....
And Ill say it AGAIN

I LOVE JOAN JETT..............

Everybody knows I Love Rock * Roll, but honeslty shes got some wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better tunes

This is one ROCKSTAR that can play circles round half the guitarists Iv seen...and to top it off she fuckin sings like NO OTHER!~

Fino+Bleed is such a killer album from start to finish CHECK IT OUT!~ AND CRANK THAT SHIT!~

iv seen her run across the bar, jump on tables, crawl on her knees, jump in the crowd...never missing a single note...

"Wind And The Mountain"

You lose your way
You've gotta land
You've gotta make another plan
But sometimes I am too tired

You've gotta smile
You've gotta play
You've gotta work another day
But sometimes I am too tired

You've gotta raise your hand and say
I don't understand
But there are days when I'm to tired
There are days when I'm just too tired
And the wind that I'm in
Screams on me
Howls around me

And I feel like I am a naked man
I've got nothing and no one in a stranger's land
And the wind will do me in

Everyday
You've gotta run
You've got a job
You get it done
But sometimes I am too tired

You wanna roll in the grass
Kick your shoes off
Have a laugh
But sometimes I am too tired

I wanna raise my hand and say
I don't understand
But there are days when I'm to tired
There are days when I'm just too tired
And the wind kicks in again and says
Lean on me
Rise above me
And it says
Sailor don't leave the channel now
Deep blue rollers are breaking across your bow
And the wind will guide you in

So I went up the mountain
But all I saw was another mountain
So I came down the mountain
And I said, "leave me here lord"
So I went up the mountain
And all I saw was anouther mountain
So I came down the mountain
And I said, leave me here lord
Leave me in the valley
Let me rest my weary head
Give peace to your survivor
Put all my fears to bed

You lose your way
You've gotta land
You've gotta make another plan
But sometimes I am inspired

You're gonna sing another song
You're gonna right another wrong
And sometimes I am inspired

You're gonna raise your hand and say
I don't understand
There are days when you get an answer
There are days when you find your answer

Marc Bolan was an enigma within an enigma.....
A man who only exsited to be a star
He wrote his own epitaph...Danced his way out of the womb and into a tomb.
36 years after his death there are still some puzzling questions and facts surrounding him and the coincidences of his death.....

Mark Feld, born on September 30th, 1947 is better known as Marc Bolan, who was a singer and songwriter in 'Tyrannosaurus Rex', later 'T.Rex', from 1967 until his death in a car crash in 1977.

He is credited by most people as the inventor of Glam Rock (certainly before Bowie!).

Bolan died on 16 September 1977, two weeks before his 30th birthday. He was a passenger in a purple Mini driven by Gloria Jones(his girlfriend at the time) as they headed home from Mortons drinking club and restaurant in Berkeley Square. Jones lost control of the car and it struck a steel reinforced chain link Fence post and came to rest against a sycamore tree. Bolan and Jones were less than 2 miles from arriving at their home in East Sheen.

Bolan was a lifelong fan of cars, especially American ones and wrote many songs that featured them prominently in the lyrics. I've heard that Cadillacs were among his favorites....
Despite this fact, he never actually learned how to drive one. The reason he was the passenger in the accident was because Gloria was the only one of them that could drive....

In 1964, Bolan wrote a song entitled, “The Road I’m On (Gloria)” which includes the lyric:

“The road I’m on gal won’t run me home”.
Bolan met his girlfriend Gloria Jones in 1969, (five years after he wrote the song) whom would later drive the car the night her and Bolan were in the fatal accident.

He also wrote the song "Jeepster" in 1971 wich included the lyric:
"Easy as picking foxes from a tree"
Not only did he hit a tree.....but The numberplate of Gloria Jones’s Mini was FOX 661L.

"Hubcap diamond star halo" is also a lyric mentioning cars and heaven from his song "Get it on"...also wrote in 1971

Bolan's last single was the ironic "Celebrate Summer" which had the refrain "Summer is heaven in '77". Little did he or anyone else know that  the end  of summer of 77, Bolan would be dead.\

I also find it strange that his last album would be called "Dandy in the Underworld" and was to feature nothing but his face on the front of it with black all around...sorta like a tribue ala Ac/dcs Back in Black....

The song Dandy in the underworld ", also semi-autobiographically chronicled his fall from grace...

"Prince of Players, Pawn of none
Born with steel reins on the heart of the Sun
Gypsy explorer of the New Jersey Heights
Exalted companion of cocaine nights

'Cos he's a Dandy in the Underworld
Dandy in the Underworld
When will he come up for air,
Will anybody ever care "

Marc also stated he didnt think he wouldnt live too long....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imz0i4X4xac

Around the nine-minute mark, marc says "I dont think Ill live that long"...shortly after trying to change the subject off of death as well

While Marc was in France for the warm-up concerts of what would turn out to be his final UK tour, he spent time sitting staring at a picture for hours. The painting was entitled 'September 16th' by René Magritte Painted in 1957

There are two paintings that are slightly differentfrom each other...
But onne thing is constant.

The phase of the moon.

The Moon is referred to as 'she' in the text below in accordance with the Celtic/Druid beliefs of our for-fathers who among other things erected Stonehenge where the Moon was 'The Goddess' who transformed each Winter Solstice into the Mother who bore the 'Sun Child' for the New Year. The 'Sun Child' grew to become the 'Sun God' with the coming Vernal Equinox on March 21st.
In both paintings, she is part way through the 'First Quarter'. In September 1977 the Moon reached her first quarter just four days after September 16th, on September 20th - the date of Marc's funeral!.
Something to ponder on....

ALSO 3 days before his death Marc and David Bowie played together on Marc's BBC series Marc...Bowie had been a long-time friend of Marc’s. When Bolan’s career faltered in the mid-Seventies, Bowie encouraged him to make a comeback. During this performance the stage turned out to be too small for the two flamboyant performers. Marc got a little too close to the edge and fell over it just as the credits started rolling, perhaps in a final sign that Bowie was destined to become the full legend in life that Marc would sadly never have the chance to be.

There also There seems to be a curse on people associated with Marc Bolan.

Both his parents died in 1991.

Hearts attacks 'claimed' the next three people: Marc's widow June Bolan (nee Child) in 1994; his manager Tony Secunda in 1995 and Tony Secunda's ex-wife Chelita Secunda in 2000. (She was the one credited for putting the glitter on Marc's face and thus starting Glam Rock).

Four people associated with Marc died in 2001: Muriel Young (Producer of the Marc Show); his manager Tony Howard; Richard Jones (Gloria Jones' brother) and Joey Ramone (personal friend).
The fate of the remaining T.Rex band members was also subject of mythology and curse.

Two other band members met untimely ends:  Bassist Steve Currie also died in a car crash in 1981, while drummer Steve Peregrin Took slipped and choked on a cherry in 1980. Mickey Finn, the last remaining member, succumbed to illness in 2003
Official Born to Boogie photographer Keith Morris was 'lost at sea' in a diving accident in 2005.

One last strange thing surrounding his death is the fact nobody knows where his money is....
In the early Seventies -- when T. Rex enjoyed 10 top five singles in the British hit parade, including "Hot Love," "Get It On" and "Telegram Sam" at number one -- Bolan and his advisers set up a string of "tax-efficient" offshore companies. After his death, ownership of these companies scattered. Most are now defunct, but one, Wizard Bahamas, survives and owns the copyright to Bolan's post-1972 recordings.

In his will, drawn up in October 1973, Bolan -- real name Mark Feld -- left it up to his trustees to do as they saw fit with his estate and to select charities to benefit.
His management said, 'You've got to make a will,' but Marc was interested in music, not wills. So I believe the will was made up and Marc signed it. At the time of his death, Marc wasn't even on speaking terms with some of the people who benefited from the will.

Among those left money were Bolan's wife June; Gloria Jones, whom the will describes as his secretary; and Bolan's parents -- but not Harry-Marcs brother....

Harry Feld said: "As soon as Marc was dead, the business people talked as if he'd never existed. That's the way it has been for 20 years. We've never had the money to get it sorted out. The royalties would be phenomenal, but we can't even find out where the money is going. We've tried, but we've just been told that it's none of our business. Once, my mum even wrote to the Lord Chancellor's office but didn't get anywhere. There's no way you can get through brick walls."

By 1977, Bolan had began to suspect all was not well with the management of his finances and decided to act. But as we kno fate intervened. At 5 a.m. on Sept. 16, his purple Mini, driven by Jones, hit a tree on Barnes Common, south London, killing him and badly injuring Jones. He was two weeks short of his thirtieth birthday.

Within hours Bolan's flat was broken into and his papers, letters and receipts stolen. None has been recovered. At 9:30 that morning, four and a half hours after Bolan died, somber taxmen turned up at his office and demanded $5.2 million in unpaid tax.
Bolan's 21-year-old son, who lives in Los Angeles near his mother, has yet to receive a cent of the Bolan fortune. "It was my dad's desire to become a big star and to make the money. And I think the children and the family are entitled to their part of that existence."

Some of Bolan's money goes to charity. His original trustees nominated two beneficiaries, one being the Performing Rights Society's Members' Fund. The PRS collects and distributes royalties on behalf of copyright holders. Its fund receives around $97,800 a year from the Bolan estate that is used to support impoverished musicians and songwriters. The other beneficiary is the London-based Ravenswood Foundation, which cares for people with learning disabilities. Ravenswood would not reveal how much it receives from Bolan's estate.

Two of the original T. Rex line-up are alive, impoverished and wondering who's getting the money from record sales. Drummer Bill Legend, now 53, unemployed and living in Essex, southeast England, says: "Money would be a great help to me. It's unfair. I'd love to do something for my kids. The T.Rex phenomenon has expanded. It's a megabucks industry now. Marc's made more money since his death than when alive."

Percussionist Mickey Finn, 50, was left $16,300 in the will, but the money took years to come through. A chronic asthmatic and, like Legend, unemployed, Finn says: "I never got any performing royalties. It's a mystery. A bloody mystery."

Long live Marc Bolan
